ZTE Axon 7 is finally official: is a flagship killer with AMOLED display 5.5 “, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 6GB of RAM
Last Thursday ZTE has lifted the veil from Axon 7, characterized by a refined new smartphone specifications combined with a cost of significantly lower price list than other similar proposals. The device was launched in China, but we already know that will arrive in the United States and Europe at a price below $ 500 price for the basic version. ZTE Axon 7 will be sold in three models: 4GB with 64 and 128 GB and 6GB RAM and 128GB respectively, and integrated storage.
Designed in conjunction with the BMW subsidiary Designworks, Axon 7 boasts an all-aluminum structure inspired, according to ZTE, to luxury cars. Remember esthetically smartphones of HTC One series from previous years, many Chinese manufacturers have copied far and wide over the past years. The device will come in two different colors: silver and gold, but one for which the device is talked about is mostly what’s under the hood.
Axon 7 adopts a resolution 5.5-inch AMOLED display Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) with rounded glass edges and pixel density equal to 558PPI. The heart of the smartphone has a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processors with Quick Charge 3.0 support, supported as we wrote just above 4 and 6GB of RAM for versions 64 and 128GB of storage built. The interior space of the smartphone is also expandable up to 128GB via microSD more.
The rear camera uses a 20-megapixel ISOCELL sensor with phase detection autofocus and f / 1.8 optically stabilized. On the front there is instead an 8-megapixel camera with an odious of “beautification” feature, to make us more beautiful than mom made us. They could not miss the two front speakers, a typical feature of ZTE smartphone family, compatible with Dolby Atmos. On the audio front we also find two dedicated DAC.
Among the additional features ZTE Axon 7 features biometric reader for fingerprint scanning, Force Touch (only on the 6GB version of RAM though), NFC, a Type-C USB connector and dual connector for the SIM. Fueling it all is a 3250mAh battery. Icing on the cake: the smartphone is among the first (after Nexus 6P) which will support the Android N DayDream mode for virtual reality.
